For those who play in Big Play Premium IDP formats or those whose fantasy strategy is to swing for the fences while taking some strikeouts, Cooper is your guy. The former Aggie was the most athletically gifted linebacker in the 2024 NFL Draft class, scoring near the top of his position in arm length, 40-time, and vertical jump. As a prospect, he was also profiled as a raw playmaker who could cover, tackle, and rush the passer. All of that potential began to materialize late in his rookie season, too, as Cooper was made a starter in Week 16 and played over 90% of the defensive snaps in his final three games, including 100% of Green Bay's playoff snaps. As a starter, Cooper averaged 8.8 tackles and 9.6 fantasy points per game in Standard IDP Scoring. While that pace may be unsustainable, were you to stretch Cooper's starts over a 17-game season, he would have finished second amongst LBs in fantasy ppg and first in total points. While injuries play a part in Cooper's role expanding late in 2024, his performance and usage suggest he will start and thrive in 2025.--Chris Gregory - RotoBallerRead More News
