Eagles Want To Use Miles Sanders More
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni admitted that he didn't use running back Miles Sanders enough in the Week 15 win over the Chicago Bears. He began Sunday just 15 yards behind Saquon Barkley for the NFC rushing lead, but Sanders didn't get his first touch until well into the second quarter, the first time this year he didn't carry the ball in the first quarter. Sanders finished the game with only 11 carries for 42 yards. "We've got to get him the ball more," Sirianni said. The 25-year-old ranks fifth in the league in rushing with 1,110 yards. He's also fifth with 11 rushing TDs and second among RBs with a 5.2 rushing average. Sanders killed fantasy managers in Week 15, but he should be much more involved going forward, especially with rushing QB Jalen Hurts (shoulder) potentially missing a few games.
