The Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Nick Sirianni agreed to an undisclosed long-term contract extension on Monday, according to The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov. It doesn't come as much of a surprise after Sirianni just helped lead the team to their second Super Bowl championship last season in a blowout win over the Kansas City Chiefs, who were looking to become the first team ever to win three straight championships. Sirianni was hired before the start of the 2021 season. Since then, the Eagles have made the playoffs four straight years with two Super Bowl appearances and won Lombardi Trophy. "Nick has embodied everything we were looking for in a head coach since we hired him four years ago. His authentic style of leadership, football intelligence, passion for the game, and growth mindset have helped to bring out the best in our team. I am excited for what the future holds for the Philadelphia Eagles," chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie said.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
