Eagles Interview Kliff Kingsbury For Offensive-Coordinator Job
11 months agoThe Philadelphia Eagles interviewed USC senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury for their offensive-coordinator job on Tuesday, according to sources. Kingsbury recently interviewed for the same position with the Chicago Bears, who eventually hired Shane Waldron to run their offense. The Eagles dismissed offensive coordinator Brian Johnson after just one season on the job. Before going to USC, Kingsbury was the Arizona Cardinals' head coach for four seasons, going 28-38-1. Before his NFL gig, he went 35-40 as the head coach at Texas Tech. In addition to the Eagles, the Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly are set to talk to Kingsbury about their offensive-coordinator opening as well. Kingsbury is mostly known for his development of such quarterbacks as USC's Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield.
