Dylan Cease Has Longest Outing Of The Year
6 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher prospect Dylan Cease went seven innings for the first time this season for Triple-A Charlotte. He struck out six and allowed six hits and two earned runs in a 2-0 loss. Cease now sports a 3.26 ERA on the season with 54 K's in 47 innings. White Sox general manager Rick Hahn has hinted that Cease could be up in the big leagues around the All-Star break. With the hope of a call-up and Cease's sturdy numbers in Triple-A, he's an excellent stash in all but the most shallow of leagues.
