Dwayne Haskins Looking Good At OTAs
6 years agoWashington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins is displaying the traits that made him the 15th overall pick in the draft in organized team activities. Head coach Jay Gruden is using this time to see if Haskins will be a serious competitor to Case Keenum for the Week 1 job. Colt McCoy will also enter the competition when he's healthy in training camp. Haskins, 6-foot-3, 231 pounds, looks the part and has what scouts and coaches refer to as "special arm talent." His football intelligence is also high, but he hasn't come close to learning all of the playbook. Eventually, Haskins will be making starts in 2019, and it wouldn't surprise us if that happened right away in Week 1. Haskins is the more attractive short- and long-term fantasy QB, but he won't have much redraft appeal in his rookie season.
