Duane Brown Expected To Play This Year
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that offensive tackle Duane Brown will play this year, per The Athletic's Michael-Shawn Dugar. The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that the Seahawks are in talks with Brown's agent on a contract adjustment. The 36-year-old is heading into the final season of a three-year, $34.5 million contract, and he came to training camp looking for an extension. The four-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro has been protecting quarterback Russell Wilson's blind side for the last three full seasons, so this is great news for Wilson and the entire Seattle offense as we quickly approach the season-opener this weekend.
