Dorian Thompson-Robinson In Line To Start In Week 11
1 year agoThe Cleveland Browns are planning to start rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson in Week 11 against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The Browns announced Wednesday morning that Deshaun Watson will have season-ending surgery for a fracture in his right shoulder. Thompson-Robinson may not make all of the starts under center for the Browns for the remainder of the year, but it appears he'll get the first crack at replacing Watson this weekend. The 24-year-old's lone start this year came in the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, when he went 19-for-36 for 121 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions. He'll be a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues this weekend in fantasy, while the Steelers defense just became a lot more attractive. If Thompson-Robinson struggles mightily, the Browns could go back to P.J. Walker.
