Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle Donovan Smith could be a salary cap casualty this offseason after not playing well in 2022 while playing through injuries. The Buccaneers are in one of the worst cap situations in the league and are currently $55 million over the salary cap. If the team moves on from Smith, the most likely fix would be to move Tristan Wirfs to left tackle. The Bucs would free up $9.95 million if they cut him before June 1, while they'd save $15.25 million as a post-June 1 cut. The 29-year-old former second-rounder in 2015 played in a career-low 13 games this past season and could be on his way out after eight seasons with the team.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
