Frederik Andersen Good To Go Monday
Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen will start Game 4 against the Washington Capitals on Monday. He did not participate in the morning skate, but this was solely for rest purposes. The 35-year-old definitely deserved some time off, as he has been one of the top performers in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Through seven starts, Andersen boasts a 5-2 record with a 1.32 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage. In Game 3 against Washington, he recorded his first shutout of the postseason with 21 saves. Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals have put only three pucks past Andersen so far and must certainly improve to have a chance of winning the series.
