The Colorado Rockies have relieved manager Bud Black of his duties following Sunday's win over the San Diego Padres. It was just a matter of time before Black was going to get fired. It's really not his fault, but someone needs to be held responsible for the league-worst 7-33 record to start the season. The Rockies are also letting go of bench coach Mike Redmond. Now, third base coach Warren Schaeffer will take over as the interim manager for the rest of the 2025 season. Clint Hurdle takes over as the interim bench coach, but neither of these moves will probably make much of a difference. The Rockies are trending towards being the worst team in history, so something needed to change. Black nor Redmond are truly to blame for the horrible start, but sadly someone needs to get fired when you play this poorly.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerRead More News
