Dominic Smith With Three Hits On Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Mets first baseman/outfielder Dominic Smith went 3-for-5 with an RBI in the Mets' 5-1 win over the Phillies on Wednesday. Smith came into the game batting just .217 on the season but, with this performance, raised his season average to .286. Smith, who was batting third for the third game in a row, appears to be getting hot just in time for the Mets' upcoming road trip to Coors Field and Wrigley Field. Fantasy managers should continue to keep Smith active in all formats. With upcoming games in Colorado and Chicago, Smith has the potential to fill up the box score especially hitting third between Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso.
