For the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Ross Chastain will start 18th. Chastain also started from this position in the March 2023 race at Atlanta, where he ended up finishing 13th and capturing positive Place Differential. In five races at AMS since 2022, Chastain has four finishes of 13th or better, including three top-10 finishes. This includes the February race from earlier in the season when Chastain nabbed positive PD and finished seventh. With 26 races completed in 2024, Chastain has nine top-10 finishes while collecting three consecutive top-15 finishes in the last three races at superspeedway tracks.
