5 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Dellin Betances (Achilles, shoulder) remains on track to be ready for spring training despite pitching in just one game with the Yankees in 2019. Betances didn't need surgery after he suffered a partially torn left Achilles on Sept. 15. The hard-throwing right-hander has spent the last three months rehabbing, and he'll have the 2020 season to re-establish his value before potentially hitting the open market again. The 31-year-old's value is down because of his injury plagued 2019 campaign, but he could easily bounce back with the Mets in 2020. He should be a setup man to closer Edwin Diaz, but Betances still has fantasy appeal for holds and his 14.6 career K/9 in 381 2/3 frames.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
