2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught five passes for 42 yards in the Niners' 23-44 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He only carried the ball once for two yards. His 44 yards from scrimmage was his lowest total since Week 13 of 2021. His single carry was his fewest since Week 8. Samuel's volume in the rushing game and short-passing game looks like it may have taken a hit with the arrival of Christian McCaffrey. Samuel looks poised to finish around WR45 or so. It would be his worst fantasy finish of the season, but he finished as a WR1-2 in two of the past three games before that. He still projects as a low-end WR2 and high-end WR3/flex option going forward and will have better games.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
