3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers will continue to manage wide receiver Deebo Samuel (calf) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) this week, and both players were held out of practice on Wednesday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan expects Samuel to play in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals, while The Athletic's David Lombardi also expects Williams to return after he missed Week 8. Samuel aggravated his calf injury during a heavy workload last Sunday, but he was still able to haul in six passes for 171 yards in the win over the Chicago Bears. As long as the 25-year-old gets on the practice field later this week, he should remain a must-start fantasy asset as the No. 2 receiver in the NFL in receiving yards (819), behind only Cooper Kupp.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
