Davis Mills, Jeff Driskel To Continue Being Used
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, the Houston Texans are expected to maintain their two-quarterback system of Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel going forward after having success in the Week 14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to league sources. Both Mills and Driskel saw 30-plus snaps in the narrow loss on Sunday, with Mills going 16-for-21 for 175 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Driskel, meanwhile, went 4-for-6 for 38 yards and one touchdown while adding seven carries for 36 yards. Mills should continue to see most of the pass attempts, while Driskel will run the team's read-option plays to try and confuse the Kansas City Chiefs defense in Week 15. Neither QB will be recommended as a QB2 in superflex leagues moving forward.
