2 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery (illness) practiced in full on Friday and was removed from Friday's final injury report. He will play in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Montgomery and quarterback Justin Fields were sick earlier this week, but they're both fine now and will be active this weekend. The 25-year-old Montgomery could have to contend with Khalil Herbert in the backfield in Week 16 if he returns from Injured Reserve, so this could be his last game with the backfield all to himself. Montgomery scored his second rushing touchdown in the last three games last week, but fantasy managers may want to temper expectations in Week 15 in a game in which the Bears could be forced to abandon the run quickly.
