David Fletcher To Have Late-Round Value
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman/shortstop David Fletcher is in line to become an important cog at the top of the Angels lineup heading into the season. Casual fans may not know much about Fletcher but all the 26-year-old has done the past few seasons is hit. In 283 career games over the past three seasons, Fletcher has hit .292. After earning an everyday role in 2019, Fletcher then backed that up by slashing .319/.376/.425 during the shortened season last year. Fletcher can play multiple positions, hit anywhere in the lineup and is a contact-first bat among a deep group of sluggers in the Angels lineup. Fletcher will not provide a lot of power to fantasy rosters but could be a positive addition in the categories of hits and runs heading into the season.
