Orlando Arcia Going for MRI, Out on Wednesday
Orlando Arcia (elbow) is getting an MRI exam on his elbow after getting injured in Tuesday's loss to the Toronto Blue Jays at Coors Field. Arcia is out of the lineup for the series finale on Wednesday and hasn't landed on the injured list yet because the team is hopeful that he'll miss minimal time with a scheduled off day coming on Thursday. Consider Arcia to be day-to-day for now, with a chance to return for Friday's series opener against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks. Kyle Farmer is starting at third on Wednesday and is hitting ninth against Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman. The 31-year-old Arcia has been bad all year at the plate with Atlanta and Colorado and has gone 23-for-125 (.184) with three homers, seven RBI and 27 K's in 44 games for the Rockies.
