6 years agoChicago Cubs infielder David Bote (personal) has been activated off the paternity-leave list on Wednesday. His wife gave birth to his first child, so Bote missed Tuesday's contest. However, he's available off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Daniel Descalso will bat first and play second base against righty Walker Buehler.
