3 years agoGreen Bay Packers star wide receiver Davante Adams will not clear the league's COVID-19 protocols in time to play on Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals and is officially out for Week 8, according to sources. Adams didn't travel with the team, so this was the likely outcome all along. With Allen Lazard also out due to COVID-19, the Packers elevated Juwann Winfree from the practice squad to the active roster. With Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) not expected to return from Injured Reserve, Green Bay's top three receivers should be Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown and rookie Amari Rodgers. Running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon and tight end Robert Tonyan should be heavily involved in the game plan.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
