5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) stretched with the team on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a turf toe injury in Week 4 against the Eagles. It's great news, but it doesn't mean that Adams will return in Week 8 against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. The fact that the game is on Sunday evening will make it even tougher for fantasy owners to rely on Adams for another week. Marquez Valdes-Scantling had over 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 7, but he remains a boom-or-bust WR3/flex if Adams is inactive another week. Geronimo Allison, Jake Kumerow and Allen Lazard had bigger roles last week against the Raiders, but they're all volatile options in the absence of Adams.
