Daulton Varsho Returns Against Angels
Daulton Varsho (back) is back in center field and is hitting sixth in the batting order for Tuesday's contest on the road in Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels and left-hander Tyler Anderson. Varsho will return to action after missing the last two games due to back tightness that caused him to be scratched from Sunday's game. The 28-year-old will be playing in only his sixth game of the year after having offseason shoulder surgery and started the regular season on the injured list. He has so far gone 3-for-14 with two home runs, three RBI, a steal and three runs scored in his first 17 plate appearances. Fantasy managers in season-long leagues will want to get him back into their starting lineups. In 12 career at-bats against Anderson, Varsho is hitting .583 with a 1.698 OPS, one home run and five RBI.
