Darrell Henderson Jr. Has Recovered From Ankle Surgery
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (ankle) said on Wednesday that he has recovered from surgery to fix a high ankle sprain suffered last December. “Yeah. I’m good to go now. I feel like if we were able to practice today I’d be out there with no limits,” Henderson said. He'll be in the mix to help replace Todd Gurley II this year, along with rookie Cam Akers and Malcolm Brown. It's good news that Henderson will be full-go for training camp next month, but it's worrisome for his fantasy upside that the team took Akers with their first pick in the second round in April. The Rams backfield figures to be a timeshare and Akers appears to be a more complete back, which makes Henderson more of an RB3/flex, at best.
