Danny Duffy Loses In Quality Start
5 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy put together a good outing against the Blue Jays on Friday, but he ended up saddled with the loss after his offense struggled. Duffy was dominant early in his outing, but two late home runs forced him to leave while trailing 3-2. Toronto would then grow the lead to 6-2 against the bullpen and hold off KC. Duffy struck out eight, the most he's struck out in an outing this year, and he only walked one, his best in six starts. Duffy's not exactly dependable yet, but this does make two good outings in a row from the lefty. He's slated to face the Indians next, and it's a solid spot start for fantasy owners.
