Daniel Suarez finished third in Sunday's Verizon 200 at the Brickyard and now sits one spot outside the playoffs, just 28 points below the cutoff line. Although a third-place finish is normally something to be proud of, for Trackhouse Racing, it will be a reminder of what could have been. After starting on the pole, the 31-year-old had a strong performance and looked to be a threat to win the race until a pit-road disaster ended any hope he had to take home the checkered flag.
