Dane Dunning Begins Throwing
Dane Dunning was able to throw 23 pitches during a live batting practice on Monday. Dunning along with Mike Foltynewicz and Drew Anderson are working their way back after testing positive for COVID-19. It sounds like Dunning might be the closest to returning out of the trio. The hope is that Dunning will be able to pitch against the Oakland Athletics on Friday. However, he'll likely only pitch an inning or two behind right-hander Glenn Otto. It doesn't sound like there is going to be much fantasy value for Dunning down the stretch.
