D'Andre Swift Dealing With Shoulder Sprain
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) suffered a shoulder sprain in the Thanksgiving loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday. Campbell said the team is in wait-and-see mode. Swift left the game early in the second quarter and never returned, finishing the game with only six touches and nine total yards for his fantasy managers. The 22-year-old aggravated the same shoulder in the Week 10 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It remains to be seen if Swift will have to miss any time, but the good news is the team has extra time to rest before Week 13. If Swift is forced to miss next week's game, Jamaal Williams would be the team's primary running back, with rookie Jermar Jefferson and Godwin Igwebuike backing him up.
