Cowboys Put Zack Martin On Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys placed offensive guard Zack Martin (calf) on Injured Reserve on Monday. Martin suffered his calf injury in the Thanksgiving loss to the Washington Football Team and will now have to miss the next three games, putting his availability in question for the rest of the season. It's more bad news for running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has become more of a low-end RB2 behind this declining and injured offensive line with quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) out for the rest of the year as well. The 30-year-old Martin is a six-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro, so losing him for any stretch of time is really bad news for the Cowboys offense as a whole. Baltimore's tough defensive line could have a field day on Tuesday night.
