Courtland Sutton Plans To Be Ready For Training Camp
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (knee), who suffered a torn ACL in Week 2 last season, said that "the game plan" is to be full-go when training camp begins this summer. "It feels really good," Sutton said of his knee. He's currently working with trainers at 80 percent but is on track to push harder once the season gets closer. Sutton was also wearing a large knee brace during workouts on Monday. If Sutton can return to full health after breaking out in 2019 with 1,112 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 72 catches, Denver's offense should be much more dynamic than it was last year. It remains to be seen who will be Denver's starter under center between Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, but Sutton could be an excellent value play in fantasy in 2021, regardless of who is throwing him footballs.
