Courtland Sutton Injured Thursday
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton made a reaching catch in practice on Thursday and fell to the ground. Sutton headed to the locker room with trainers after the play with an undisclosed injury. With All-Pro linebacker Von Miller (ankle) suffering a season-ending surgery on Tuesday, this is the last thing Denver wanted to see heading into Monday night against the Titans. Sutton had a solid second season in 2019 as a Pro Bowler and is set to take a third-year leap in quarterback Drew Lock's first full season as the starter. As the clear No. 1 receiver and the team's top weapon on offense, losing Sutton for any period of time to begin the season would be another devastating blow. Check back for more updates on his condition and whether he'll have a shot at playing in Week 1. If he's able to play, Sutton will be a strong WR2 choice.
