New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider made his first start of the season on Thursday, and his stretch of futility continued. He allowed three goals on 30 shots during a 4-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. Schneider has not won a start since December 27 of 2017, a stretch that has spanned 13 starts. It is remarkable how bad Schneider has been during the streak, as he has allowed three or more goals in every single game. Keith Kinkaid has wrestled the starting job away from the former All-Star and looks poised to see the majority of the action. Schneider is nothing more than a poor streaming option at this point.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
