In the main event of UFC Des Moines, former interim bantamweight title challenger Cory Sandhagen got back in the win column by defeating former two-time flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo via second-round TKO. The fight was stopped in the second round when Figueiredo suffered a knee injury. Up until that point, Sandhagen looked great, dominating the majority of the contest.
