Dallas Stars right-winger Corey Perry has begun skating on his own as he gears up to make his debut with his new team sometime this month. Having suffered a small fracture in his foot shortly before the start of training camp, Perry's skating session on Tuesday marked his second time on the ice (his first skate was on Sunday) in nearly a month. Bought out by the Ducks and subsequently signed by the Stars this past offseason, the 34-year-old will be out to prove that he can still generate offense in an NHL scoring role. Expected to jump right into the Stars' top-six forward group, the former league MVP could easily surpass an injury-riddled 2018-2019 campaign in which he posted just 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 31 contests. Considering Perry could return to action in the next week or so, fantasy owners might want to consider stashing him in an available injured reserve spot.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
