He led the charge when Edmonton was able to tie the game from a 4-0 deficit, but a shocking defensive effort eventually sent the team to a defeat. McDavid, who scored his first goal of the contest in a short-handed situation, reached 48 markers and 65 assists for the campaign. The Oilers captain continues to put in phenomenal work, with his newest scoring streak consisting of six goals and 10 assists over a six-game span.
