Colts Trade Up to Select Jonathan Taylor
5 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts decided to trade up to the No. 41 pick in order to draft Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor. This is an interesting move by the Colts to trade up for a running back with Marlon Mack still under contract for another season. Taylor rushed for 2,003 yards on 320 attempts with 21 touchdowns for Wisconsin in 2019. Taylor is arguably the best running back in the draft class, but seems like an odd fit for Indy. The Cleveland Browns move down to No. 44 from this trade, but the Colts clearly weren't willing to wait in order to draft Taylor. It'll be interesting to see how Taylor performs with Mack alongside him in 2020.
