6 months agoWashington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy (leg) is still hoping to play in the Week 17 season finale against the Eagles despite suffering a broken fibula 27 days ago, according to a source. With Washington's season basically over, it makes no sense for the Redskins to throw McCoy out there too soon. We'd be pretty surprised if he actually played, and he'd be a last-ditch, low-end QB2 against the Eagles even if he did play. In the meantime, Josh Johnson is running a Washington offense that is running on fumes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
