Cole Beasley Remains Week-To-Week
4 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Cole Beasley (knee) remains week-to-week after suffering a knee injury late in the Week 16 contest against the Patriots. The 31-year-old did not play in the Week 17 win over the Dolphins and should be considered questionable for the wild-card matchup with the Indianapolis Colts this Saturday. The former Cowboy had a career year with quarterback Josh Allen in 2020, catching 82 passes on 107 targets for 967 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games. He's one of Allen's favorite go-to guys on third downs, so Stefon Diggs, John Brown, rookie Gabriel Davis and others would need to step up if he cannot play this weekend. Buffalo also signed former Texan Kenny Stills to their practice squad on Monday for additional receiver depth.
