Although he was promoted from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this week due to the club’s games in a National League venue, New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier will remain with the club as they return to American League action. The Yankees opted to go with Frazier over a reliever due to the more frequent pinch-hitting situations, with the 23-year-old coming close to entering Tuesday’s shortened game in Washington. With the club taking on a couple of left-handed pitchers from the Kansas City Royals this upcoming weekend, Frazier will likely start a game. Manager Aaron Boone heavily implied this on Thursday, with Saturday being the most probable day.--RDelgado
