Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said the team is making it an offseason priority to try to re-sign both defensive tackle Chris Jones and cornerback L'Jarius Sneed. "It's extremely hard because you have two keystone players there," Veach said. Jones, 29, has been of the league's best pass-rushers for years and had 10.5 sacks in 2023 to tie him for the team lead despite missing training camp and Week 1 due to a contract holdout. Sneed, 27, was used to defend opposing teams' top receivers most of the time, and nobody had big games against him. Both Jones and Sneed were vital to an improved Chiefs defense that allowed fewer points than all but one other team during the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
