Chiefs Restructure Travis Kelce's Contract
2 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs restructured All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce's contract on Tuesday, converting his base salary into a signing bonus to clear $3.455 million in salary cap space, according to a source. Kelce had his second 100-yard game of the season in the Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills and he's scored seven times already in six games played. In half-point PPR scoring on Yahoo, he's the No. 1 fantasy tight end so far in the season. The 33-year-old went off for fantasy managers in Week 5 with four touchdowns, and he remains a must-start in all fantasy lineups as the best tight end in football. He'll be facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7.
