5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team drew the pole position for Sunday's Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Elliott, from Dawsonville, Georgia, will look to capture the checkered flag for the first time at his hometown track. Elliott has had a whirlwind start to the 2020 season. He has shown winning speed almost every week, has been involved in a couple of tussles and has seen multiple victories slip through his hands. DFS players may be discouraged to start Elliott because he is on the pole, but he was very strong at the other 1.5-mile tracks. Elliott led 70 laps at Las Vegas before blowing a tire and finished first and second in the two Charlotte races.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
