Chase DeLauter Goes Deep On Thursday, Stays Hot At The Plate
4 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Chase DeLauter went 2-for-5 at the plate on Thursday as he tallied two hits, including one long ball and three RBI. This performance extended his current hitting streak to seven games. During this stretch, the James Madison University product holds a .385/.400/.654 slash line with two home runs, nine RBI, and a 2:4 BB:K. The former first-round selection in the 2022 MLB draft has been hindered by injuries all season but has begun to put those behind him. Through 28 games at Double-A Akron, the outfielder has held a .240/.311/.385 line with three home runs, but his recent production suggests he could enjoy a nice end to the summer.
