Case Keenum Paying Dividends In New Offense
7 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum has been working hard during organized team activities to learn his new offense under offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave. “Case is working hard,” Musgrave said. “It’s a new system for him, it’s a new system for everybody. Case is getting — exclusively — all the reps with the ones. We’re not splitting them like you would if you didn’t have an established starter, so he’s getting more concentrated work, and it’s paying dividends.” Keenum had a career year in Minnesota last year, throwing for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns in 15 games. He'll surely make Denver's offense better than it was last year, which will help receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, but Keenum is still more of a QB2 target from a fantasy perspective.
