St. Louis Cardinals closer Carlos Martinez picked up his 10th save of the season on Friday, tossing a scoreless ninth inning. He allowed a hit and notched a strikeout. He needed just 12 pitches, lowering his ERA to 3.62. He went through a little rough patch lately, but he's been solid overall in the closer's role.
