Carlos Correa Out To Silence Critics
4 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa has plenty to prove heading into this 60-game season. Correa played in only 75 games in 2019 and has missed significant chunks of the season in each of the past three years. After slashing .315/.391/.550 in 2017, the 25-year-old has hit a combined .255 since. He did rebound last season by posting a career-high .568 slugging percentage but again struggled with injuries. Correa has a world of talent, but his fantasy value heading into this season is at an all-time low. He could be an absolute steal if he can replicate the numbers he posted in the first 50 games last season when he hit .299 with 11 home runs, 13 doubles and 35 runs batted in.
