Carlos Correa Out Again on Thursday
Carlos Correa (back) is taking another day off on Thursday in the series finale in Sacramento against the hosting Athletics, according to The Athletic's Dan Hayes. Correa has been slipping in the batter's box at Sutter Health Park and feels that his back is overcompensating. "We're taking the smart option of taking these two days (off) so I can go back home and play at home. I'm not going to be slipping at the plate," Correa said. It sounds like 30-year-old veteran is hoping that he can return for this weekend's series at home against the Toronto Blue Jays, but fantasy managers will need to check back on Friday. Brooks Lee is starting at the 6 again on Thursday and will hit eighth against A's right-hander Mitch Spence. Lee will have minimal DFS upside in the eight-hole, but he's also in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak in which he's gone 9-for-30 (.300) with a double and four RBI.
