Carlos Carrasco To Make Rehab Start Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (elbow, illness) will make a minor-league rehab start for Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday. Carrasco's first rehab game was scratched over the weekend after he came down with an illness, but he's feeling better now and will pitch on Tuesday. The 36-year-old right-hander is expected to need just one rehab appearance before the Mets activate him from the injured list, so he should be back with the big-league team later this week, barring a setback on Tuesday. Carrasco hasn't pitched since April 15 due to a bone chip in his right elbow, so fantasy managers looking to stream him should be extremely careful whenever he makes his next start for the Mets.
