Carlos Carrasco Expected To Return In Second Week Of May
Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) is expected to return to the rotation in the second week of May. Carrasco pitched four innings in a scrimmage, so he's nearly built up his arm for game action. The veteran suffered the hamstring strain during spring training- and appears to be right in line with his six-to-eight week timeline, perhaps more toward the six-week end of things. Carrasco was excellent for the Indians in 2020, pitching to a 2.91 ERA with 82 strikeouts compared to 27 walks.
